Butler County has four sheets of ice, including the official practice facility of the Pittsburgh Penguins! Another 10 sheets of ice are located within a 30-minute drive. In addition, dek hockey and roller hockey can be hosted.
The recent addition of the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex has brought in dozens of hockey tournaments and competitions. It holds two full-size hockey rinks with approximately 1,500 total seats.
