About Butler County Sports Commission

Butler County has long been a great place to work live and play. The Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau has long hosted a variety of sporting competitions. Through the sales efforts of the bureau, headed by president Jack Cohen, we have been selected as the site of many national and international sporting events. We have incredible venues, a great location and an array of hotels, restaurants and attractions, to please the event planner, participant and spectators.

The Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau has recently increased our dedication to the Sports Event industry, with the creation of the Butler County Sports Commission. We have a top-notch advisory panel of professional athletes, coaches, athletic directors, trainers, sports medicine authorities and the leaders in sports from our region. They recognize the value of what we have to offer sports planners and their athletes, and join us to promote Butler County as a premier destination for tournaments and sporting events in Pennsylvania.

We have several multi-use outdoor and indoor facilities that can accommodate groups of all sizes. Butler County, PA can meet your team needs for events ranging from baseball, hockey, softball or soccer to professional disc golf championships, triathlons, obstacle races and specialty sports.
